1. Who We Are

Tomoyo, a product of Yuuyoo Consulting LLC (“Tomoyo,” “we,” “us”) provides tools for personal organization, companion-style features, community experiences, and related services (the “Services”). This policy applies when you visit our websites, use our apps, or otherwise interact with us.

Controller

Unless stated otherwise, Tomoyo, a product of Yuuyoo Consulting LLC is the entity responsible for processing your personal information under this policy.

Scope

This policy covers our Services. It does not cover third-party apps, sites, or services you access through links or integrations we do not control.

2. What We Collect

We collect information in three main ways: (a) you provide it, (b) we collect it automatically, and (c) we receive it from others (where applicable).

2.1 Information you provide
  • Account info: name or display name, email address, password (stored as a secure hash), profile photo (optional).
  • Profile & preferences: settings, accessibility preferences, app configuration choices, optional bio fields.
  • User content: entries you create (e.g., notes, tasks, journal-like content, messages, uploads).
  • Payments: if you purchase something, we receive limited purchase metadata (e.g., plan, date, status). Payment card details are typically handled by our payment processor, not stored by us.
  • Support communications: messages you send to support, feedback, bug reports, and related attachments.

Sensitive information: Some users may choose to store highly personal content in Tomoyo (for example: relationship dynamics, private routines, or intimate preferences). Please do not include information you are not comfortable storing digitally. Where required by law, we process sensitive categories based on your explicit consent or as otherwise permitted.

2.2 Information we collect automatically
  • Device & log data: IP address, device identifiers, browser type, app version, access times, crash logs, and performance metrics.
  • Usage data: pages/screens viewed, features used, clicks, and actions taken within the Services.
  • Approximate location: may be inferred from IP address for security and basic localization. We do not require precise GPS unless a feature explicitly needs it and you grant permission.
2.3 Information from others (optional/limited)
  • Integrations you enable: if you connect third-party services (e.g., sign-in providers), we receive information you authorize them to share.
  • Referrals: if someone invites you, we may process limited invite data (like your email) to deliver the invitation.
  • Service providers: we may receive security, fraud, or payment status signals from vendors helping us run the Services.

4.2 Legal, safety, and enforcement

We may disclose information if we believe in good faith it is necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect users, prevent harm, investigate abuse, or enforce our Terms and policies.

4.3 Business transfers

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law and appropriate safeguards.

4.4 With your direction

We share information when you choose to do so (for example, you post content publicly, share with another user, or enable an integration). You control what you share and with whom.

Heads up: If you choose to share content with other users (or publicly), they can copy or re-share it. Please share carefully, especially with highly personal content.
